ZRemesher experiments

In this weeks lab session we were asked to use a zsphere model and to experiment with re-meshing it and creating an adaptive skin. I started with the black bear model and created an adaptive skin. By turning up the DynaMesh resolution and the density, it smoothed out the zspeheres and created an easier skin to work on. I then cleared the canvas and inserted the new adaptive skin model.

I used puref to display my found references of black bears and used various brush tools to model the bears features. Overall I am really happy with how the final product turned out.

After I had made the adjustments I wanted, I clicked the ZRemesher icon in geometry and he turned out like this.
