This is my final poster. I combined multiple ideas and shapes to relay a message to my audience such as the circular spotlight to highlight the badger and typographical features such as statistics to deliver information and inform people of current issues. I also chose to add a moon to make it more obvious that I am raising awareness for being careful driving at night. The baby badger being outside of the spotlight suggests that when you aren’t careful driving, you can actually hurt more than just what you see.
I also used Photoshop on the floor background to add a more detailed dirt effect. I used the paintbrush tool to create different tones. I wanted to do this along with the addition of the trees to suggest the importance of being aware when driving in more rural country areas.

I also decided to add a logo and created this separately in illustrator. I used the badger face and experimented with negative space to create my logo. I chose to do so as the most recognisable part of the badger is its’ black and white stripes.
The colour palette I used is muted and dark to mirror natural tones and reflect the darkness of the night sky.
The font I decided to use is ‘Halyard Display’ I chose it as it is simple yet bold and helps get the message across effectively. I decided to illustrate the initials of my name using the pen tool instead of a font in order to act like an autograph and thus personalise the brand more.
The statistics and information used are from the Badger Trust website at: https://www.badgertrust.org.uk/gbab. This website inspired me a lot and I ended up doing a lot of research from this website.
