When the group initially decided to create assets for a secret agent base we thought it may be a little difficult to come up with a list of assets each, however I researched and considered mine deeply and this was my final list:

I tried to think outside the box so I could experiment with lots of different textures and models.
My initial research consisted of looking at different images on google to get some inspiration. I looked at these three pictures:

I realised that both the top two had crates and boxes so I wanted to create some sort of box for my assets. I didn’t want to take many ideas for assets directly from the images as I wanted the assets to be my own ideas. After exploring various images of secret bases I started researching my individual assets.
I firstly looked at the weapons cabinet. I wasn’t sure where to start with this asset as I had only seen weapons cabinets in video games – I was interested to see what a real weapons cabinet looked like.

This is the image that inspired me the most. I liked the shape of the cabinet and the shelving and wanted to include this in mine.
I also looked into walkie talkies and how I would go about modelling and texturing one as I knew that there were multiple different types and shapes.

This was the model that I decided to look into. I really liked the shape and different textures of this model and I wanted to incorporate this into my own.
I also looked into secret/mini spy cameras and found this one:

I loved the colourful stripe and the indent for the camera, I ended up incorporating these into my asset. The final texture of this model ended up being my favourite.
