I knew that as the USB stick was a relatively simple model I wanted to play with the textures and colouring of my model. I decided that whatever model I created I would pay extra attention to the texturing. Initially the desk was overly simple and I didn’t really like the shape. I decided that I would play with the design and shape as I modelled to find something I liked.
The spy camera was inspired heavily by my research and this image:

I knew immediately I wanted to include the buttons and rainbow stripe. As for the crate, I wanted to create a simple crate with handles but experiment with the texture.
