We were asked to create a table scene with a cloth and bowl of fruit for this activity. I struggled in the beginning but it became easier as I got more used to the interface.
Firstly I created the table using the CV curves and revolve tool.
After this I attempted to create the table cloth using the CV curve and loft tool.
I then attempted to make the cloth hang over the table using the vertex mode. I struggled with this as I couldn’t get the cloth to look like it was hanging naturally.
Once I felt okay with how it was looking and felt as if I couldn’t make it any better, I worked on making the bowl and fruit to go on top.
I used the CV curve tool to make both the bowl and the fruit (apples).
Overall, I did enjoy making this scene. I really struggled with the table cloth which was complicated but another little issue I came across was working with the positioning of objects and moving them around. I think this is probably something I will get used to with practise but in general I am proud of the end product.
